Deplorable

Deplorable. That's what the Democratic nominee for President called 50% of the Republicans.
"To just be grossly generalistic, you can put half of Trump supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables. Right? Racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamaphobic, you name it...irredeemable...not America." --Hillary Rodham Clinton
She want ahead and insulted the other 50% of the Republicans as well,
"That other basket of people are people who feel that government has let them down, the economy has let them down, nobody cares about them, nobody worries about what happens to their lives and their futures. They are just desperate for change. Doesn't really even matter where it comes from." --Hillary Rodham Clinton

The second half she offered the old paternalistic pat on the head that they just don't know any better. The first half she condemned out of hand.

I was going to vote for the Libertarian candidate, but now I think you can mark me down as irredeemable.

Right there with you brother. I'll hold my nose and be "irredeemable."

What's that you say about they just need a better electorate.

What an attitude of nobility.

I'm highly sympathetic to the Libertarian message cause, but (IMO) they really shot themselves in the foot with Johnson/Weld. The only thing they can honestly say is they're not part of the two party system.

Voting to make a statement does nothing, so if you are going to vote for Johnson, you might as well not vote at all. I admit that is exactly what I did in the last election, because it was virtually certain that Obama was going to win, and Romney was just as Liberal as Obama.

In this election, it is different. Hillary isn't just a Liberal, she is downright evil, and represents the worst of American politics. This race is a close one. I don't know what kind of politician that Trmup will be, but I know EXACTLY what kind of politician she will be.

I remember the days of the Clinton Whitehouse, and I know how close we came to a full-on armed rebellion during his Presidency. A Hillary Presidency would be worse. Bill is just a frat boy who used his power to get laid. Hillary is, and always was, the person in that marriage who lusted for power. She is the one that I always thought wanted to be a dictator. That opinion has not changed.

I happened to come across the Clinton News Network this afternoon and they made the comment that Trump was rated consistently as a liar and that Clinton was rated as the most truth telling candidate to have run this election.

Has someone changed the dictionary or did I fall into an alternate dimension?

I trust the words of someone with pseudologia phantastica (pathological liar) more than I trust Clinton and if Trump is guilty of something it is not having a filter between his brain and mouth (though I do believe that this is a deliberate act on his part)

Pisses me off that the Dems are willing to run someone with a severe health problem, that entails a worsening brain function as it progresses.

Half of the Trump supporters are the "Basket of Deplorables," and the other half are the ones that Pres. Obama described as the Bitter Clingers back when he was running for the office. The phrase stuck to him like glue, and so will Queen Hillary's "Basket of Deplorables" comment. She realized this, which was why she was out the door so quickly with a formal half-hearted apology.

This morning she's all over the news saying she's sorry she insulted half of Trumps voters.

(......... oh, She still believes it, she's just sorry she said it , and that it was repeated on the news so often. No word on her thoughts about the other half.....)

I'd love to vote for a libertarian candidate if the party would give me one. As for Trump, we won't really know what we are getting until he is elected. With Hillary we know exactly what we are getting. I'll take my chances with Trump.

I can't vote for my candidate of choice becuase there isn't one. I nomally vote independant or libertarian - but Johnson lost me completely this time. Maybe I just wasn't paying enough attention to what he really believed in previous elections - He'd just another democrat.

My only response is to either not vote (which in my state, will have the effect of changing nothing what so ever) or vote to stick a finger in eye of the establishment - I'm going with the finger in the eye (not that it'll matter for WA - it will still go to the Hell Beast.

Rather be "Deplorable" than "Despicable."

I've learned over the years that a Libertarian president is a contradiction. Capital L Libertarianism is just a nicer form of anarchy, and ends in blood the same way.

Ordered liberty is what we used to have, and is the dream of the natural American libertarian-conservative. Unfortunately, we seem to no longer be the majority of the population. Just as our enemies have planned and labored for generations.
