Detroit Airport stinks

Long line at passport control. They're obviously not set up for this. Lobg line at customs - it was manned with a skeleton crew.

And then you have yo go back through TSA screening. What a stupid airport.

    From living in Michigan, I can tell you you'll not find much of anything smart in that city.

    In a previous lifetime (the 80's), I flew in to Detroit from an Ohare connection, and stayed at some forgotten hotel therein. Didn't get to view much of the airport or the city (Save leaving and returning from about 50 miles North)
    One could see, however, all was in decline.

    You have to go back through TSA screening since you had access to checked luggage . . .
