Brother was laid off from his military contractor position due to sequestration. Former nuclear submariner, diagnosed with stage three cancer. Too young for Tri-Care. Couldn't get in to see the VA. Couldn't get enrolled for Obamacare due to the problems with the Washington exchanges, it went stage four. 20 year vet died years before he had to, because he couldn't get health insurance for cancer treatment and didn't want to leave his young children with mountains of debt.
