Reality and Ashley Madison

Genericviews said it so well there is no point in repeating it all here. The internet is men, especially in certain areas, like dating sites and sex chat. Ashley Madison, not that I had paid it any mind until it made the news, is no different, nor would I have expected it to be.
"...Everyone else on the site is there for one reason:  Pay the fees.  This is a total scam business model.  There should be federal agencies like the FCC (internet regulation), and FBI (wire fraud) trying to shut this site down.  Not because sex is immoral but because FRAUD is illegal."

Thanks for the love.

And I forgot to mention the Federal Trade commission. I am sure there are a bunch of other consumer protection places and states' AG that should be interested in this too, but none of them are. AM doesn't seem to have enough money in the bank to interest them and that is all they really want. They go after corporate deep pockets.

More accurately, genericviews, they go after that which threatens their Masters. And none of those use AshleyMadison.com They instead use FoB - that would be Friends of Bill...

I was thinking the tobacco settlement, the BP and Exxon oil spill train robberies. Any time you hear about a major corporation being sued by the government, it is never to put a corporate chief in jail for breaking the law, or to demand that the corporation change it's policy. There is always a huge paycheck attached. And the lawyers are all expecting huge bonuses funded from that paycheck, not from Congress. Or the paycheck gets distributed by the courts to favored activist groups directly. Again, keeping it out the hands of taxpayers and congress.
