While Borepatch Works On His Tan

While Borepatch works on his tan, I have a follow-up question from my weekend.

How do you get dots of tinted water-seal off of vinyl siding?

All in all, I'd rather be risking skin cancer on the beach.

No need to get waterproofing off vinyl siding. The siding is already waterproof.

Magic eraser?

Probably either denatured alcohol or acetone. If you use the denatured alcohol, be sure to not breath the fumes, They will ruin your day.

Best choice would be to coat the REST of the siding with the waterproofing. That way it will all look the same. Once you start cleaning, you most likely find that the area you clean looks enough different from the REST that you'll have to do the WHOLE thing anyway...

I have some of that sealer on a cooler. This cooler has been pressure washed, straight bleach wiped, full strength Dawn soaped among some of the things that I have tried. None has removed the stain.
Acetone might, but it melts the plastic of the cooler.
Methyl ethyl ketone melts the plastic too.
