The Internet Archive has just posted 2400 DOS games from the 1980s and 1990s. Some of these devoured hours/days/months of my life. It looks like they're all playable in the Javascript emulator there on the site.

ReplyDeleteThere are versions of Pirates availible for download from both Steam and Gamestop, it used to be on Gamefly as well. My Husband says the only change is "they added color". But the copyright is still active because of that, so thats likely why its not on the archive.

ReplyDeleteI spent a number of hours playing Master of Orion yesterday. Microprose games used to consume a vast amount of my gaming time in the 80's and 90's. I still remember seeing the SNJ "Miss Microporse" for a while at Oshkosh.
