"In Iraq and here at home, Americans have made clear they are tired of the failures of the last six years," said Sen. Harry Reid of Nevada.I like that quote, it reflects the outcome of the election. If Harry Reid had said that yesterday I would have thought he had given in to honesty. But no, he was talking about the midterm election of 2006.
Now, in 2014, when it's his party's turn, he trots out the following bit of
“I’d like to congratulate Senator McConnell, who will be the new Senate Majority Leader. The message from voters is clear: they want us to work together. I look forward to working with Senator McConnell to get things done for the middle class.”That is not the message I want Harry Reid to get. I want him to get the message that I think all of them are lying, self-aggrandizing scoundrels that should be sent home in shame and replaced with honest men and women that would serve the Republic with honor. But unfortunately, none of those patriots were available, so we had to settle for replacing one set of scoundrels with another.
