Keeping the muzzle pointed in a safe direction since 2008
Elmer Keith would have been proud.
And he makes it sound so easy.
Bowing to the master...
I'm wonder if I could even see the ballon at 1000 yards. Hitting the big white plate would be luck. That man is scary good.
Shall we say "don't try this at home"?His hold was 30-40 yards over the target, which is blue sky. An amazing talent nevertheless.
There was a fellow who used to write for Precision Shooting Magazine who used to get his kicks doing the same thing with a S&W 629 (5" barrel) and a Freedom Arms 83, both in .44 Magnum.I once got to try a borrowed 500 Linebaugh at 800 yards in Worland, Wyoming. It's a real kick in the pants when that big bullet hits the dusty ground, and it takes a long time getting there too.
