The Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is a test that categorizes personality types into 16 different categories. The Geek In Heels has taken a Star Wars character to describe each of the 16 types. Very clever.
I'm R2D2.
Of course, the definitive replacement for MBTI is here. Allies, Enemies, Traitors, Weapons, or Hostages. Heh.
Apparently I'm Emperor Palpatine. Works for me. Although if I'd been running that project the Deathstar would be done by now, and those whiny Rebels would be powering the mass conversion reactors.
ReplyDeleteOn a slightly more squishy topic, that bastion of touchy-feely let's-all-get-along-because-Canada-eh singalongs, the CBC, put together an entertaining collection of short pieces describing musical keys as personality types. I'm C minor, the Tortured Genius.

Another Palpatine here.
ReplyDeleteThese tests keep telling me I'm an evil genius, but somehow I seem to have missed out on the "evil" part. I blame the Joooos, and my granny in particular.
(Well, I'm looking at relocating to someplace where I'd have room to build an army of giant robots; perhaps that'll unleash some inner evil that I've been missing out on all these years.)
I'm Owen Lars, but I don't have a clue who he is.....
ReplyDeleteTime to check out Wikipedia, I guess.
Palpatine here too... :-)
ReplyDeleteWow, lots of INTJ's here... Well, I'll chime in as a fellow Palpatine-type then, though I've never identified with him.
ReplyDeleteOn a side note, I recently found out that Walter White (from Breaking Bad) is an INTJ. That might explain why (with a few exceptions) I never really found his actions to be despicable ;P
I'm either Palpatine or Yoda, depending on the test; I've taken several variations, and score strongly on the E-I, S-N, and T-F scales, but more-or-less dead center on the J-P scale.
