Err, she rides a metric motorcycle?

I have absolutely no idea what this is, except it looks like she's going out for a ride.

No doubt one of my young gentlemen readers can enlighten me in the comments.

  3. Okay, so we've established who she is.

Why do I want to be a mouse again?

  4. There are mice who are friends of the Voltron team, and especially the Princess. I imagine a mouse has hidden in her pocket at some point. That's pretty common in fantasy settings.

  5. Fair enough.

It's kind of funny - I remember watching Voltron cartoons when I was a kid. We're talking way back in the 80's. I guess some franchises just stand the test of time.

i don't remember mice though. Just lion robots that were totally useless by themselves, but they could form together to make a huge badass robot that could kick the ass out of anything.

The thing was, the lions were useless, and the people driving them knew it, but they always seemed to take a run at the enemy in lion form first, get their asses kicked, then form into the robot thing and win. You'd think at some point they'd just learn to never take the lions out of robot mode and just build a bigger shop to store it in.

  6. @Goober: IIRC, the lions were elementally-powered, and had to return to their various elements to "recharge": the blue lion to the lake, the red lion to the volcano, etc. They were stored separately by necessity, not convenience.

I'd also point out that not only did this franchise stand the test of time, but so did the concept. The Voltron force pre-dated the Power Rangers squad by several years, and Power Rangers is still going (albeit, having been rebooted several times)!

  7. To add on my first paragraph, I remember one episode of Voltron in particular, where the lake dried up, and as a result the blue lion was useless. It lay like a dead carcass on the now-dry lakebed, and the team had to improvise, seeing as they couldn't form Voltron without all the lions. I don't recall how that one ended, though....

  9. Make her a brunette and she'd be the TMobile sportbike girl...

    I'll be in my bunk...
