And the problem would be what?

  1. The problem?
Typical vending company limited selection :)

  2. There's two problems I can see. First, who exactly wants only two choices in firearms? I see a random silver semi-auto with a hammer rather than the ubiquitous Glock, along with a black revolver. Come on, Texas, more choices please.

Secondly, they should be sold in blister packs. The mechanism won't work properly with irregular shapes like firearms. A standard blister pack will make the dispenser system more reliable. There's nothing more annoying than having to shake the gun dispenser to get your pistol.

  3. I agree with Sean. S&W 59 series pistols? Off-brand S&W K-frame clones from God knows where? And that's it?

Throw some Combat Tupperware in there, blister pack the guns, and add a basic load of ammo in the blister pack with the guns.

  4. The biggest problem I see is having enough change on hand. . . it better take bills or credit. . . that much coin is heavy. . .

  5. I've seen vending machines in service plazas along the New York State Thruway that sell headphones, MP3 players, and other expensive toys to shut the kids up in the back seat. They take credit cards.

  9. Needs a selection of ammo. Throw a couple boxes of Winchester whitebox (at least) in there, maybe bottom-row. And I'm not sure I want to even dry-fire any handgun that can be purchased with coins!

  10. Nah, RabidAlien - pre-filled magazines, in the little gum-dispenser tabs on the bottom.

Swipe your card, get your pistol with one full mag. Swipe it again, get another mag... or two or three...
