Old warbirds

Comrade Misfit tells us that one out of a thousand B-17s are still flying.  She has video.

    One in a thousand still flying is just about right. I believe there are ~10 airworthy B-17s in the US and one in the UK. If memory serves, about 12 and a half thousand of all types were built.

    Watch your local skies for the Wings of Freedom tour from The Collings Foundation. They routinely travel with a B-17, a B-24 and a 2-seat P-51C. I'm a fan . . . can you tell?
