Every now and then it seems like we're caught in the 1930s

"Angel Priest" identified.  This seems like a story you could have read in the '30s.

    Well said, and I have to say I think the priest did his job and moved on, just like an old time priest would have, no thought of thanks or publicity...

    I'm reminded of the Boston Marathon bombings, where priests were prevented from comforting the injured.
