Billie Holiday - I Cried for You

This is her first big hit, from 1937.  The recording quality is still a bit primitive, but the music is awesome.



Almost 80 years old, and it's still a classic.

    Check out Madeleine Peyroux if you get a chance to see her in concert. She's received a lot of acclaim in the jazz world for her Holliday-like voice.
