  1. My brother ask me " Why buy a .45 ?"
    My answer " Cause they don't make a .46"

  2. Well, if those two videos don't reignite the debate (did it ever really stop?), nothing will.

    M1911A1 for the win!

  3. I carry my little revolver in .38 special more than anything else...

  4. If some of the gun forums see this post you'll get a 1000 hits and a 100 comments.

I lean toward JMB and the .45 and I like 1911s, but I recognize that there are differences of opinion and I will shoot 9mm as long as it's in a Browning Hi-Power.

  5. I'll stick with the Colonel's Original Recipe: .45LC. :-)

  6. You just HAD to do that didn't ya... :-) I'll stick with one (or two or three) of each, thank you very much! :-)

  7. Trying to stir things up, are we??

    My humble vote....45ACP.

And a 1911 to use it in....

  8. Brilliant! I fell for it, too: I started to roll my eyes at the tired old .45 ACP argument but, when I read the 9mm argument, I laughed aloud. Exactly captures the pointlessness of the "debate."

Ford vs. Chevy? That has some merit.

  9. Ya notice that their prices for a thousand rounds of either 9mm and .45acp, but at the 20 round and 50 round boxes there is some pretty big disparity.

  10. They actually have some ammo! Thanks for the link BP. (I just ordered some 9mm fwiw)

  11. I didn't know you had to chose only one. I have a nice S&W in .45 ACP and several nice S&Ws in 9mm. Personally I like shooting 9mm more than 45, but that's me.

I also have several nice S&Ws in .38 Spcl.

Any of the three will suffice quite nicely for self defense.
