Boy, it's cold

Even here in the heart of Dixie, it may get down to 20° tonight.  Baby, it's cold outside.

    On the way in to camp at Mt. Katahdin,We were listening to a song at the restaurant at the entrance to the park. I swore it was Kim Carnes, but it was in fact Rod Stewart. Imagine Rod singing "Bette Davis Eyes", if you will. Anyway, it was Rod Stewart alright.

    Dolly is a peach, the real thing.

    T'was 36 below when I awoke this morning, heading for 26 below tonight, if not colder.

    But ya know, it's all reletive: you get used to it and only shiver half the day.
