Any recommendations for an RSS reader?

Google Reader is losing its mind.  Want something else.  Too lazy to do my homework.  Too lazy to use subjects in my sentences.

Anyone who wants to do my homework, please leave a comment in the, err, comments.

  1. It did go nuts the other day - but it seems to have successfully completed the quest to regain its sanity. It's been behaving normally the last day or two. Other than that, though, I can't help you with another tool, as Google Reader is all I've ever used.

  2. I concur. Google reader sucked for a day, but it got better. I just use google to manage my subscriptions... I use nextgen reader on my surface to read the feeds most of the time.

  4. I use the RSS ticker addon for Firefox. I always have Firefox running and having them scroll across under the address bar when feeds are updated makes it very easy to keep up.

  5. Pretty sure Google Reader priced the competition out of the market (so to speak) and then decided to slack off.

  7. My problem is finding one that is web based.

Alot of my favorite blogs/sites are blocked for Legal Risk. >:o

Google reader lets me get past that and see all the wonderful content.

  8. Reader is supposed to be going away too, IIRC. Thought I saw a pop-up some time ago.
