Supporters of strict gun laws, meanwhile, bristle at the fear-mongering they say is driving the gun rush.I mean it's simply beyond the pale to try to push your preferred policy options by using fear and emotion. Certainly Ms. Martens' group would never stoop to that. Oh, wait.
"It's an unfortunate phenomenon that fear is being used as a way of marketing their products," said Heather Martens, the director of Protect Minnesota: Working to End Gun Violence.
Their tears of frustration at their lack of success are Nectar of the Gods. Drink up.

ReplyDeleteThe really funny thing is that I haven't seen a single bit of 'marketing' from the firearms industry...Obama and Bloomberg have been doing all their marketing for them.
