Omnes viae Romam ducunt

Some folks have used the Google Maps API to recreate the Roman Empire.  Cool.


 How they did it.  And they're working on the Egyptian Book Of The Dead.

    There's also a gentleman who used Google maps / world to make the most detailed map for Game of Thrones' world, for which I'm truly grateful as the maps provided in the soft-cover editions left much to be desired. Oh how wonderful the world of technology is!
