TheOnesDay® No. 20

This is the twentieth posting for TheOnesDay®, the semi-regular mocking of the Obama ego.  In celebration of post number 20, I am extremely honored to announce that this post is actually a guest post.  Even more, it's a guest post by Barack Obama himself.  I'm actually verklempt.

Neil’s spirit of discovery lives on in all the men and women who have devoted their lives to exploring the unknown—including those who are ensuring that we reach higher and go further in space. That legacy will endure—sparked by a man who taught us the enormous power of one small step.
—President Obama on the passing of Neil Armstrong

I actually could not have mocked the President more brutally than he did.  Remember Alinksy's rules - mockery is an excellent tool, particularly when targeting someone as famously thin skinned as the current President.

  1. And I would be remiss if I didn't point you towards this picture after that.

  2. I must be extra dense today, because I'm not seeing the mockery. It just looks to me like the sort of Hallmark sentiment you'd expect at the passing of a hero.

  3. And he didn't even bother to put up a pic of Armstrong, AND the 'stock' image implies Islam with the crescent moon and one prominent star...

  4. Okay, I gotcha. I keep forgetting that normal people have to be reminded to RTWT.

  5. It's all about HIM, of course. I'm surprised they didn't publish the one with Obummer stepping out of the Eagle. (And lest the muttonheads start screaming about "Obummer" or "Obeyme", let's all remember it was open season for 8 years on "Chimpy McHalliburton Bushhitler".)

  6. It's fortunate that the universe is expanding. That way it has plenty of room for his ego.

  7. The moon is small and out of focus; easily overlooked. Stage center is Obama's silhouette. In a moment calling for a bit of humbleness, we are treated to ego and/or campaigning.
