There are lots of survivors. Every day improvements happen, people beat the odds. I'll keep praying, but that doesn't mean that there is no other hope.
Just now catching up after a week at Boy Scout camp.
Here's hoping for a positive outcome for your brother! My families (both adopted and biological) have been fortunate on that front, but I've certainly known many who have been afflicted - my father in law has been battling lung and brain cancer for a while...so far, he's holding his own pretty well.
