Generous scoring?

I'm wondering if the scoring was a bit generous.  Feel free to chime in about what you think I really shot.  Of course, I'd love it if this is a real 189, but recognizing reality is a virtue.

Of course, what counts is what the Appleseed judge says.  Like they say, bad calls are part of the game of Baseball, and if a bad call falls your way well, the call fell your way.

UPDATE 11 June 2012 11:02: Those are .22 holes (other than one which had a .30 cal bullet pushed through - IIRC third row, left hand target).

  1. If those are .30 caliber holes, it looks good for what I can see (small pic/old eyes).
A'seed uses the .30 cal rule, so if you shoot a .22, & a .30 bullet inserted into the hole breaks the higher scoring line, it counts.

  2. I got a 190 from the postcard sized image. ;-)

I think your 190 is solid. Good shootin!

  4. BTW, do you guys do it timed by stage, of all at once? In NE, it's 4' for 40 rounds, 3 positions.

  5. I scored it as a 194 but the image was a bit small to be sure.

  7. Just for curiosity, what rifle were you shooting? Scoped or not? Ammo?

  8. Oh, and the thing that's going to piss you off? I expected to see a 20-25 point increase on the *second* target Sunday morning from most shooters.

First one knocked off the aches, second one it came together.

Go to another, you'll bring home a patch.
