The Brown Truck of Happiness

It just brought my Lyman reloading manual. I may not be around much ...

  1. I just loaded up 100 rounds myself, before coming up for air...

  2. What are you planning to load? .303? That seems like a good candidate.

I got my Lee manual yesterday, and should get a set of .380 dice early next week. Got a $25 gift certificate with my last pistol purchase, so that'll go for primers and powder. Just need brass and bullets, but those are easy enough to come by.

I'll teach 'em to charge me .45 prices for .380.

  3. Dave, yeah .303 is the starting point. Got a couple hundred empties.

  4. Have fun!
Reloading is something I should probably learn to do.

  5. Just wait until you start casting your own bullets...

13gr of Red Dot is a good cast load for .303 Brit... Just sayin'...

  6. What press se-up are you going with? I'm considering starting with a Lee single-stage to get my feet wet cheaply.

  7. You are welcome. It's quite possible that package went by my office at least once.

I need to get into reloading, just as soon as the wife is comfortable with it. I know it's perfectly safe, but she doesn't understand that, yet, and I'd rather be happy than right.

  8. BP -- Classic Cast or Challenger? Regular or Breach-Lock? I'm going Classic Cast, but still undecided if I want the Breach-Lock feature or not.

Daddy-Bear: if you're in metro ATL, TruPrep has a demo/class on reloading, which may help your wife's worry. Worked for mine.
