Keeping women in their place

That would be Sabra, who unloads a righteous can of whoop-ass, culminating with this:
Shit like this is exactly why I so rarely pay attention to liberals these days.  Because they lie.  And then they lie some more.  And then they claim it's the truth, and if you point out that nothing of the sort was ever said, why, don't you know that what was said was just racist code words?
Clearly, Sabra is a Patriarchal Oppressor, whose goal is to keep women helpless and without options for, oh, I don't know, higher education and bettering themselves and stuff.  Oh, wait ...

Me, I just think she would like a higher caliber drivel from the Lefties.

  2. I am against the health care mandate because I do not think that the government should be mandating that people provide a given service.

The problem that I have with Santorum's ideas on abortion is this: He states that prenatal testing should not be done because parents abort defective children, and further states that we should not abort defective babies because abortion is always wrong.

The problem here is that nature used to take care of that for us through miscarriage, still birth, and neonatal death. With the advances in medical science, that is preventable.

I agree that abortion should not be used as birth control. Trisomies and monosomies in many cases SHOULD be aborted. Before we improved medicine, nature/god/the fsm used to do this on his own.

Whether you agree or not, the federal government has no constitutional authority to get involved with abortion on either side.

  3. I maintain the whole purpose of this attack on the church and first amendment is diversion.

Make everyone talk about birth control and not the horrible attacks the administration is making on freedom.

I'm with DiveMedic. I'd be just as upset if the government mandated employers provide dental floss. They have no right. Period.

  4. The fact that this is birth control is absolutely hijacking our message. We are being accused of being against birth control, when nothing could be further from the truth (I, by the way, absolutely love me some birth control and use it all the time).

What we are against is a federal government that thinks it has the right to do this thing that it did. It does not. Like was said before, i'd be as much against this if we were talking about dental floss. This is not their place, and damnit, they need to learn their place!
