Why are Democrats so racist?

I mean, if you don't vote for the black guy, you're racist, right?
Jay Cost argues convincingly that “No serious Democratic official would dare challenge Obama for the nomination.” But Ralph Nader says that “I would guess that the chances of there being a challenge to Obama in the primary are almost 100 percent.” Nader says that challenger could be “an ex-senator or an ex-governor” or “an intellectual leader or an environmental leader.”
Mr. Hoist, I'd like to introduce Mr. Petard.  Those the Gods would destroy, they first drive mad ...

  1. Why would they call themselves racists? They won't. They call US racists. They don't call themselves racists. When we call them racists, nobody hears, because they control the media.

Charges of hypocrisy, accurate or not, only work when you control the media.

They're hoist by nothing. Of course they're inconsistent, and they know it, and they get away with it. They are proud of it, because getting away with it is a DHV.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, if we did that, the media would call us on it. So what? They media won't call them on it.

I congratulate you on your stunning moral victory, Borepatch. That and fifty cents will get you... not much.

  2. What a defeatist and apathetic comment. In a nutshell, the left controls the MSM, so we should just give up.
To the point, I'm wondering if Hillary is going to make another run at it. It would be the ideal situation for Bill, all those chunky young interns, no particular schedule to keep...

  3. I do not suggest that we should give up. I suggest that we should fight tooth and nail.

What we should not do is pretend that we have already won, and recline languidly on our laurels in lotus land. Sure, you can kid yourself a bit to keep your morale up along the way, but not to the point of pretending that one of the key threats we face doesn't actually exist.

  4. Anon, I for one refuse to grant them the moral high ground that they claim. While it's true that I don't have the reach of the New York Times, I plan to continue to mock them continually.

If everyone (or even a few) did this, it will hit them in their morale. In fact, I think it already is.
