Trust me, you don't want Rick Perry to be president. He is a corrupt slimy motherfucker, even for a Texan politician. Residents of other states might laugh at 'Good 'ol boy' politics and corruption, but the effects aren't funny in the least.
Well, Axelrod is already on the attack. Expect a full court press - Obots, MSM and Unions - teachers unions, especially.
As a non Texan, I know 3 things about Perry - he shoots his own coyotes, the state economy is booming, and the left are already exhibiting fear and loathing.
Perry is the white Obama, red on the inside. Previously Al Gore's campaign chairman. Tea Party christian words, marxist deeds. Statist. Big government cronyism. Soros and media will back this guy to continue 'more of the same'.
For my part, I'm not gonna run screaming. The State has fared pretty well under his watch. That's what I care about.
The media is already beating the "executed an innocent man" drum, of course. Expect to hear a lot about that, even though the dead man's innocence is only a sure thing to the people desperate to end the death penalty using the "innocent man put to death" meme.
Yeah,
ReplyDeleteBut Hollywood is on his side ...
