No doubt signs like this:Barely a month after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention issued instructions for preparing for a zombie apocalypse, the undead will be shuffling into Cobb County.
On Monday, the AMC series "The Walking Dead" will be filming scenes near the Cobb Galleria Centre for its second season. The Georgia Department of Transportation has approved road closures on Cobb Galleria Parkway from Akers Mill Road to Cumberland Boulevard; on Riverwood Parkway, from Cobb Galleria Parkway to Cobb Parkway; and at Cobb Parkway and Riverwood Parkway.
The closures are scheduled from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The county will set up two message boards, one in each direction, on Cobb Galleria Parkway alerting commuters of the closures and of a detour.

Did you watch it last season, Ted? Great show.
ReplyDeletewv: fughold. When a zombie grasps you.
After all the SWAT (Gestapo) action we've seen lately (storm the scene then figure out the facts), I seriously hope they let ALL the police units and swat teams know whats happening. Plus they need to better inform the public.
ReplyDeleteDuring filming for the first season, the character that plays the neo-nazi skinhead type was up on the roof of a building shooting a hunting-sniper rifle for a scene and the public got scared and the SWAT units showed up in force to deal with the threat.
Hey, its a great show that can hold your attention, like "LOST" did assuming you can stand the subject matter.
Bob, I don't watch much TV, so I missed this.
