It's rearranging my old posts. It's possible that this is an artifact of the Blogger crew manually restoring last Thursday's posts, or it means that something is still weird deep down in side of the Blogger source code.
What's interesting is that the missing posts show up with "draft" status, but the specific posts change over time. It will be interesting to see when (if?) this settles down.
I'm not ready to start worrying yet, but if this happens again I will. Sure would be a pain to have to stand up this blog on Wordpress. Got almost 4000 posts and over 10,000 comments I'd have to move.
I haven't noticed it at my place, but I did notice that a couple of old posts were up here near the top again last night.
ReplyDeleteIs there a way to get blogspot to dump all of your archived posts into a file or some other way to get it all?
Graybeard, Blogger has a HOWTO on this:

Wordpress has a migrate facility that has worked well for me. Everything came over quite well, including links and comments.
ReplyDeleteOf course, there is no reason to move if you do not have to.

This post reminds me I need to archive my blog from Blogger.

This is hardly the place for it, but...is there any news about TJIC? I haven't been able to find anything newer than 25 january, and his website is still down. Any idea what's happening?
ReplyDeleteBlogger is still doing weird things. A couple of blogs I tried to access this morning returned "database error" messages for a while and then were fine.
ReplyDeleteWRSA (now at http://westernrifleshooters.wordpress.com/) just moved, and would have insights
ReplyDeleteAnonymous, TJIC asked us to be patient. I expect he'll be back when things settle down.
