The postal worker was stunned when the package moved by itself and fell to the floor. Then came the sounds of heavy panting. The woman has been charged with misdemeanor animal cruelty, which seems about right. She hasn't asked for the puppy back, which was impounded at the animal control shelter. She did ask the post office for her $22 back. Cute little guy, too.
Within minutes, she and co-workers had unwrapped a tightly sealed box and rescued a 4-month-old puppy that a Minneapolis woman tried to mail to Georgia.
As it turns out, the Post Office will in fact ship some animals (e.g. honeybees). But puppies are right out.
The woman SHOULD have been charged with impersonating a human being.
ReplyDeletesome folks are just plain stoopid.
ReplyDeleteyou may also ship duck and chicken chicks.
ReplyDeleteon the the news tonight she wants the puppy back, sound like a bad idea.
So what about dogs with bees, and when they bark they shoot bees at you?
