If the Red Sox don't win the World Series this year, I'm going to blame Global Warming.
If you extend back to 1958, the co-efficient of correlation between CO2 and HadCRUt global temperatures is 0.907.
How significant is that?
Well put it this way : The co-efficient of correlation between the number of Home Runs hit in MLB and HadCRUt global temperatures over the same time period is 0.885.
Make of that what you will!
You moved. It's the Braves now.
ReplyDeleteWait...I'm confused.
ReplyDeleteWas it the Curse of the Bambino that caused AGW?
Bill Buckner is really AlGore in disguise?
Doesn't the Green Monster earn the BoSox some carbon credits?
All of the above?
None of the above?
Who cares, since they're only the Red Sox?
Go A's.

So that explains how my Giants won the World Series this year. The mighty army of AGW true believers in SF whispering "I do believe in global warming, I do believe in global warming, kept the Rangers from hitting any home runs. I guess this means that the Sharks will win the Stanley Cup. The hockey stick strikes again!
