Over the weekend, I posted an uncharacteristically brief note on the pleasures of cross country driving. We only drove a thousand miles, and broke the trip up into three days.
That worked nicely for us, since we had a convoy, one of which was 18 year old #1 Son. But serious long distance driving demands a more rigorous regime.
Newbius shows how it's done, driving from the east coast mid-Atlantic area to San Diego and back.
It's quite a tale, and he tells it well.
