Quote of the day

From Bob S. at 3 Boxes of BS:

When teenagers shot each other, gun control advocates call for greater restrictions on our rights.

When teeanagers kill another teen (Derrion Albert) with boards, gun control advocates call for greater restrictions on our rights.

When teenagers kill attack another kid with rubbing alcohol…gun control advocates………….remain silent.

It isn’t the tool we have to worry about, it is the culture of violence that is epidemic.

It's stuff like this that makes him a daily read for me.

  2. When illegal aliens shoot each other during illegal drug deals, anti-gun advocates complain about guns.

Not about the fact that illegal aliens are involved.

Not about the fact that the fight waas over illegal drugs.

Those poor guns. They seem to be responsible for illegal aliens, illegal drugs, teenagers shooting each other, holdups in convenience stores, gang-banger drive-by shootings...

A sociologist once asked a Springfield Armory XD-9 about its major complaint.

"Well, cars are NEVER responsible for the drunks driving them, computers are NEVER held responsible for the spyware authors who destroy files, spray paint cans are NEVER held responsible for the racists graffiti "artists" who use them...

... heck, pens are NEVER held responsible for some of the idiot things that are written, either!

So, howcome I get blamed every time some idiot misuses ME?

I mean, I'm just a tool. I can't do ANYTHING by myself. SOMEONE has to PICK ME UP! If I'm sitting on a table, I'm not hurting ANYONE! Heck, if someone doesn't hold me, I'm no worse than a hammer!!

    And they blame *ME*???

Heck, they even ignore the fact that I'm protected by the Bill of Rights! I mean, what kind of country is this, where even SPECIFIC CONSTITUTIONAL PROTECTION mean less than an illegal alien's rights???

    Sheesh!"

The Kel-Tec PF-9 on the table would have nodded in agreement... but a handgun can't do anything unless it is held.

  4. Weer'd, I'd be happy to take ya...

... but don't mention to my XD that you think it's "pig-ugly". It has its own opinions about Glocks...

    :-)
