I don't think that a bicycle is what you need


Seems I'm not the only one who thinks this. If you click through to the image on Flickr, you'll find this:
Not sure that I'd want to be up against a Lion with a Smith and Wesson, either. Maybe one of these:
Model 500 Magnum. I don't expect that shooting this would be pleasant, but neither would getting eaten by a lion.

    I don't think I'd want anything smaller than, say, a .375H&H Magnum if I was in that situation...

    Pistolero, I'm with you. The section on lions in "Death in the Tall Grass" is pretty harrowing.

    I'd not only want a .375 double, I'd want a Professional Hunter as a backup.

    Or a squad of Marines. ;-)
