The story of Chinese immigrants in the Mississippi delta

This is pretty interesting, particularly all the southern drawls.

That is one of the 'hidden' stories of the Delta. Glad to see it come to light.

And yet, somehow, these Chinese descent folks thrived, lived the American Dream. built on what they had and became better every generation.

Why did THEY succeed in having grocery stores, when (supposedly) the blacks couldn't?

How is it in the prejudiced south (and, for that matter, the north) that the immigrants made good and the blacks made excuses?

Oops, sorry, not a PC question, is it?
