Memory lane

# Son wanted his 21st birthday dinner here. We come here pretty regularly, but the last time we did the whole hibachi thing here was 12 years ago.

He invited his friends, and it's been fun. It's also been a walk down memory lane for me. Not a bad thing at all, but you know how sentimental I am.

Hibachi? Nice.

I once asked my spiritual director (RIP), back in London at the end of the last Ice Age, if sentimentality was a bad thing. he pondered that and replied, "In this day and age? Perhaps not." I once asked him what he did on his day off. He thought for a bit and said, "I go to my club. And stay there all day long."

God bless.

Brigid, thanks. We did, more than I'd hoped just a few years ago.

LSP, I think I would have liked him.

Good on yer. For what it's worth, Hibachi is popular around our shop too, and I always get the Kirin Ichiban when I'm there. Best wishes and G_d's blessings to you and yours.
