As I've said before, my first job out of college (as a newly minted Electrical Engineer) was at Three Letter Intelligence Agency. It turns out that that's where I met the lovely and yet-to-be-my-bride Miss Borepatch, when we both started work on the same day. We carpooled, with some other newly minted Agency folks.
It was the summer of 1984, and this was all over the radio. We re-wrote the lyrics, as "Codebusters", singing them at the top of our lungs as we drove down the Baltimore-Washington Parkway.. Sadly, none of us wrote down those lyrics, and they are lost in the mists of time. Still, this is one of those songs that transports me back to the days when I had hair, and Mrs. Borepatch had Big Hair.
Good times, good times.
