If the hole is not that big, a small tube to blow the dust out of the hole is handy. Drill a little, stop, remove drill, blow then repeat. Watch your eyes and maybe use a dust mask too. If the holes are many and or larger, a stop at a tool rental place for a spline drill and bit may be a choice.
