Sheryl Crow and Brad Paisley - Run, Run, Rudolph

Yeah, her opinion on toilet paper is goofy.  This is just fun.

Country music doesn't give people a lot of opportunity for guitar work like that.  Pity.

Listen to more Brad Paisley. He takes the opportunity to play guitar like that on everything he does. He's an incredible talent. Funny guy, too. Listen to his lyrics sometimes.

Crow sounds good and looks good; until you smell her politics:

Wikipedia - "A liberal political activist, she endorsed Barack Obama for the United States Presidential Election and later performed on the 4th and last day of the 2008 Democratic National Convention."

I stopped listening to her years ago ...

Paisley plays like that every chance he gets. Go find the video of the duet between him and that Aussie country artist (who's name I can't recall at ALL right this second....dammit, he married that tall red-headed Aussie actress, who's name I also can't recall, maybe I should start drinking, it can't do any MORE harm to the memory....)

Graybeard, one of the early "Saturday Redneck" posts was his "I'm going to miss her".

Hans, yes she's a goofball, but it was a fun song anyway.

Ruth, I think you're talking about Keith Urban and Nichole Kidman. He's one of the Missus' favorites, and can play pretty well, too.

Many of his songs have laugh out loud lines. Not sure of the real title, but "I'm So Much Cooler Online" is a great example.

Sheryl Crow is a perfect example of a "Shut Up and Sing" performer. She's talented, and I like most of what I've heard of hers, but I stop listening as soon as the music goes quiet. Much easier to live with that way. Unlike the Dixie Chicks, she doesn't court the audience that she insults.
