Obama asks for options. Silence
Disbelieving, Obama tries again: You mean that nobody here has any ideas?
Again, Silence. Finally, one of the Cabinet Secretaries suggests a PR campaign to blame Republicans past and present for the mess. The President might, suggested the Secretary, call a Press Conference to go full on Medieval on the GOP.
"I would," said the President, "but I haven't gotten the OK from John Boehner."
