Last night's Top Shot

The best man lost. Adam is - in my opinion - a singularly unpleasant character, and it was sad to see Caleb get eliminated by him.

Adam is (in no particular order), (a) no team player (plotting against his team mates while the team competition is still ongoing, (b) a snake (trying to deflect criticism of (a) by focusing on Caleb as the "rat", and (c) a drama queen. Man up, Adam. And grow up.

Congratulations to Caleb for participating, and for some mighty fancy shootin'.

Apparently, most viewers agree with you. The vote was 70% for Adam to be eliminated.

Personally, the only thing I was saddened by was that Caleb didn't just tell them right up front that he didn't appreciate their machinations or their disloyalty to the team and warn them that he was going to tell Blake and JJ what they had been planning.

I find it mildly disturbing that he pretended to be at least considering their plan and then went straight to Blake and JJ about it, rather than being up front from the get-go.

But that by no means justifies Adam's whiningly desperate attempt to deflect attention from his own duplicity and lack of character.

These types of shows are predictable; the more snot-slinging the better people seem to like it. What's next? Maybe a Boy Scout reality show where we can see youngsters acting like their competitive nutball parents...? Heck no, it would not work. Scouts would refuse to vote out the "weak link," they would rally around him. With the Scouts, you would have the best volunteering to be voted out so the others could continue.

I love guns and I like Caleb, but I never watched one episode (I would have needed to find a way to do it via the net since I don't have cable.)

Other than for promoting shooting sports, IMHO the show sounded like it would be a waste of time. From what I have heard so far, it is.

Actually worse than a waste of time, I've watch all the episodes so far, and feel that it put's all gun owners and shooters in a bad light. I think Adam should be sent packing on principle.

It's enough that he's a drama-queen, that's grounds for elimination all by itself.
