Looks like a movie.

Modern wrecking balls are designed differently (pear-shaped per Wiki) and the mass of a wrecking ball that size (>10,000 pounds) would be such that it wouldn't change direction and bounce around after hitting a minivan (~3500 pounds).

It may also be a giveaway that someone yells "Cut!" just before the actors (dressed as construction workers) rush out.

Agreed, likely a movie:

1) Nobody in their right mind would be swinging a genuine wrecking ball that low across a street - there's no point in doing so, other than criminal mayhem - and, in particular, the street would be blocked to traffic well back from any area where such a ball would be working.

2) As stated, the structure of the ball is slightly odd - not exactly like most real modern work balls, which are more oval or pear-shaped - and does not appear (based on its behavior after the strike on the minivan) to have as much mass as would be needed to produce the apparent effect.

The van was probably "flipped", using a hydraulic lift mounted inside it.
