And via a comment, I've found a new (to me) blog, Guns and Guts. He has a post that shows you everything you need to about bailouts. I won't spoil the surprise, so clicky-clicky, however he's basically saying that 700 Billion is nothing compared to what we'll see pretty soon.
Epic Fail indeed. Boy howdy. Wonder why you don't hear the Guys In Washington (especially Sen. Hopeychangey) talking about this. OK, actually I don't wonder.
